Wasn't it someone here that posted the link to the TaylorMade golf site where you could enter to get a free club? Walked up to my door today, and there's this box with TaylorMade on it. Open it up, and inside is a brand new TaylorMade Burner 6 iron with a Burner graphite shaft!

Preciate the link (Whoever it was that posted it. Couldn't find the original post in my history).

I signed up, but I guess I just don't fit the profile of who they wanted to hit...

Apparently old farts like me that spray the ball into the junk more often than the fairway...

Not sure what you would do with a 6 iron that doesn't match your set
.....TM is of course just trying to get you to buy the full set. The Burner is an excellent iron, highly forgiving and decent looking, and a pretty good price. TM (owned by Adidas) is taking over the golf world, they are already #1 in driver, fairway wood, and hybrid, and are very close to taking over the #1 position in iron sales, which Callaway has had for many years. The 09 Burner irons are far and away their best selling iron ever.
I think it's a great iron for the average golfer.

Worse case it can be my new 'rock iron' when I'm in the junk at the new TPC course here in San Antonio. I played it a few weeks ago, and I can attest that the rough does have plenty of hidden rocks.
