I did read the article on the newspaper and I tought that the guy was a smack not knowing foxfaces are venomous. When I am performing maintenance on my tank I have my wife kee an eye on my lion in case he gets too close to my hands.
There should be a law that says lfs must clearly mark venomous animals. Having someone "keep an eye on" a wild animal is not safe. A volitan, as well as any wild animal, can strike before a person has the time to even gasp. Volitans appear slow but when they strike it's literally in the blink of an eye. The best thing to do is have some sort of barrier to put between you and the animal.

Correct..When I had a Red Volitan I made sure I would put egg crate in between Him and myself...
