Remora AquaC (new owner) - collection cup question...

I recently purchased a used 90 gallon bow front complete with lr, fish and tons of other stuff both in the tank and miscellaneous parts... now to my question; having never had a skimmer before where should the rubber gasket around the collection cup be set. I have looked in the manual and online I just can't find where it should be set maybe I am missing it!?!? Should the collection cup sit farther out of the skimmer or lower down? Any help would be great!

Cup set lower=wetter skimmate(more seawater used).
Cup set higher=dryer skimmate(less seawater used).
Set your cup as needed/desired.
I hope this helps.

I also have a Remora and keep it set pretty low for a skim with more water. Whenever I go away for awhile I keep it up higher for a less watery skim. Just my 2 cents

Thanks for the tips... I am fairly new to saltwater, well at least a saltwater aquarium this big.
