Remora Pro Hang-On Skimmer ?

I am upgrading my Eclipse 37G and building a canopy for MH, plus adding a Remora Pro HO Skimmer. Will any of the pump options be better my tank? Would one be better for future upgrades? Does the pre-skimmer/bubble trap make a difference?
The pump options are:
1. Rio 1400
2. Maxi Jet 1200
3. Mag Drive 3
Also...does anyone know the cheapest place to get one of these? SWF.com doesn't carry this.

for the options, get either teh maxi or even the mag drive, IMO, the mag is a beetter pump, but i would personally get the upgrade from the rio(for any tank)
the remora pro would definitely be a good skimmer for a tank of that size

Fshub and/or Anthem:
Do you think the Mag Drive would take up too much room? I don't have a sump, so not only are my PHs in my tank, but so is my heater and soon my PS Pump. Is the Maxi Jet a good pump, and is it smaller?
Also, what do you guys think of the pre-skimmer/bubble thing?

Maxi 1200 is a very good power head. The rate are 295 GPH and it is small in size.
