Removing pests?

My fish store owner asked if I could give her some plants from my reef tank, since I have tons I want to give her some but I have a problem. I have bristle worms and Aiptasia in my tank and I don't want to share those beasties with her. Would soaking the plants over night in a bucket with a dose of coppersafe get rid of them or is there a better way that wouldn't risk getting copper in her reef? Maybe just a long fresh water soak????

I had some aiptasia last well into week 2 of a hypo treatment on some rock in a QT. I doubt a quick soak or other treatment that would be effective against the aiptasia, without killing the macroalgae (assuming that's what you mean when you say plants) first. A quick FW dip should get rid of the bristleworms, but the only way for the aiptasia would be a visual inspection, and a bit of praying...
What macro's are they exactly?

A combo of grape Caulerpa, the holly leaf Caulerpa and a little chaeto.

Aiptasia likes to have its foot on something more secure, so either caulerpa should be fine as aiptasia likely won't attach to it. However I've seen plenty of chaeto filled sumps with aiptasia all in them. Only real advice would be to cultivate a visually clean section of the chaeto, and then for her to QT it. Ghost feeding heavily to try and get some aiptasia grow, etc.
