Replacement Compact Fluorescent Bulbs ?

I have 2 questions.....
1) how long are the bulbs good for or how often do they need to be replaced? I was reading once a year, is that true?
2) I have a current-usa 48" 65wx4 for use with my 110g X-High, it was used with my 75g, but i recently upgraded tanks. Currently it has 2 65W Dual Actinic (#2036) and 2 Dual Daylight (#2034) bulbs. Should i replace these bulbs with their exact match or switch to others that I see listed on their web site?

Hi there i have a 48in 65watt x 4 and i just ordered my new yesterday.
yes you should replace them once a year.
Mine has dual bulbs also i am replacing mine with 2 10000k daylight and 2 420 nm bulbs
i just posted a ? about the same thing and someone told me it did not matter if you have duals or daylights its just what you like...

pc's need to be changed out every 6 months. they start to brown at the base and start losing strenght after that.
i personally like the pc's from the big bidding site to be honest... they are much brighter than the lights from corallife (not sure about current's though).
