I bought a 30g breeder second-hand, and it doesn't have a support that runs across the top.
This wouldn't be a problem, except that the glass top I bought is actually two 18" x 18" pieces, instead of one 36" x 18" piece. I've oriented the pieces so that right now they're able to stay up, but it means that every time I want to lift the glass, I have to take my light off.
Is there a way I can purchase a new piece of black plastic that I can glue back on to the frame? I've never seen anything like this for sale, so I'm remember to DIY it, but I thought I'd ask.
