my 210 tanks sump has overflowed but i dont see how it coulod have siphoned out so much water that the water level in my tank has dropped 5 inches and now all the water is on my floor and stand. the tank has no leakes

did ur return pump stop pumping? How long has it been set-up? If its a new system it takes a while to get the water level to stay put. u have to play with the pump (i hope u have a ball valve).

AHH F***i no y i had a pump setup to th uv sterilizer and the return went to th overflow, i had unplugged the return pump just before i went out, AHHHHHHHH

well i just think of it this way, its good in the way that i could clean the sump, but bad that now the bottom wood board is warped

good thing i had some more premade saltwater so i filled it up and now imm making more, but is it ok if i leave the filter of for 3-5 days, i only have my fluval 304 on which has a filter pad and phosphate remover.

i just realized that my tank is causing me so much stress- sump overflow and the regrowth of cyano

np, i had the same thoughts about my 135. Nothing in life is going to be peachy 100% of the time. This is just a down time. Stick with it and get through this.

right now the cyano is on parts of my sand and rock and i cant syphon it out cause i have no water to replace it and now i need more salt

nope no critters will eat cyno, you have to play with the lights for a few weeks so it will go away............look it up on the search on this website you will find all the info you need. Man that really sucks what happend to ya ............that could have been real ugly :eek:
