Well i saw a sun coral at my lfs, and it wasent doing so hot, so i decided to give it a try. this is my first sun coral, but i have been reading up on them because ive wanted to get one for some time but i never see them in the pet stores by me. The sun coral has a bout 30 heads all-together, about 15 of them are already dead, or have a small amount of tissue still attached, and the other 15 are very skinny and hard, when opened up. i got it yesterday and have been trying different ways to feed it with cyclops. i dont have a 2 liter on me, so i havent done it that way, but today i put the coral in a small 4 cup tuppaware and fed every poply that still had a mouth some cyclops. and boy did they gulp it down.
i feel really bad about them being so hungry, that i fed them twice already and they keep eating it, there tenticles dont even come out, there mouth just opens and swallows it whole.
if i feed the sun coral to much will i kill it??
im only planing to do this 2 days a week, but i still havent seen the coral open yet.
pics to come.
