I want want to set up a nano tank. I wont do anything without researching a lot first, so I am turning to the experts. Can anybody suggest any good web sites or articles that can help me understand how to set up and run a good nano system. I have had a 100 gallon slatwater setup for about a year now so I am not totally ignorant to the hobby but I know it is a hole new ball game with the nanos.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

if you having been able to maintain a 100gal tank, you should have no problem with a nano. Its the same thing, the only differnece is you have to be religious about water changes every week or so. And the other problem is water evap, and heating. Other then that, i think they are easy to keep. I'd hate to keep a 100gal tank, too much maintenance, whereas the nanos in my opinion is less maintaince because it will only take me an hour everyweek to check my water, do a water change and wipe the glass clean. :)

by the way just to clarify, i would love to keep a 100gal without myself having to maintain it :) i hope you didnt take it the other way around. Its awesome to see such big tanks, they are the best. But since i dont have the money or the effort, I like the nano tanks. :) Can you post some pictures of your 100gal tank?

Beautiful tank!! Beware of the sea apple!!! I have one just like yours and when he died he took everything with him, fish, corals, everything. Plus months worth of water changes to remove toxins!! Good luck with your nano!! Qbnfreek, Los Angeles

Ya I just started my 10 gallon and I had a 55 for about 2.5 years. Taking care of the 10 seems a lot easier. Water changes go pretty quick and cleaning the glass is a breeze as to cleaning all the glass in my 55. I've heard that it can be harder to keep the parameters right on becuase there is so much less water for the chemicals/junk to spread out into. One thing I did that i saw on hear is to get like an Aqua Clear 110 and convert it into a mini fuge to help filter the water. Try searching this Nano form for it.
