What is this hobbies resale value? I'm def not thinking of selling, but i was curious and surprised in myself that I never asked.

I got my eq at cost (thankfully).
So i spent around 1500 on a 75 gallon tank + megaflow model 3 sump w/all eq and fishies and lr and cc(will be switched soon)

Tanks generally sell for about a dollar a gallon, more if they are drilled or reef ready. You could expect the same amount for a stand. Say a 75 tank gal tank and stand would sell for 150. Equipment, you can expect to get about half of what you paid for it, if you are lucky. Some people dont realize the value loss in this hobby and then when they decide to give up after about 6 months or so, they end up holding on to an empty tank for years because they dont want to take a loss until they get tired of storing or moving the tank around and then finally sell it. With that being said, anybody got a 90 galllon reef ready tank and stand they want to sell?
