Restoring Coralline and other algae?

As the title states i am looking for help restoring out tanks coralline and algea populations. Some of you may know our tank is recovering from copper (less than 1 ppm remaining!!) and we lost every coral, snail, and most crabs in the tank. i was just wondering if there was anything i could do to promote the growth of these algeas. our tank looks too clean right now. Any advice would be great.
Thanx

IMO, the best things you could do to restore coralline is to have water parameters close to natural seawater and to reintroduce some live rock that is covered in coralline. Then, you could scrape the coralline on the live rock in front of a powerhead to help spread the spores.

If you have a copper reading that high, and you have rock and sand in the tank, I would suggest you will not be able to keep this rock and sand as it will constanly leech copper back into the tank. Remember that copper is fatal to marine invertebrates at levels as low as 0.05 mg/L.
