My trustworthy LFS is selling a retrofit lighting system for a 48" tank which includes new JBJ reflector, two brand new URI VHO 48" tubes(1 actinic and 1 50/50) and a used Magnetek(couple of years old, owner says it will last for a long time and he gave me a guarantee that it will last for a very long time) ballast. It is all wired with endcaps and it is being sold for $150. Am I right to think this is a bargain? Would it be a good start for a 70 gallon semi-reef tank with hardier coral?
