Retrofit?

You have 2 options... A full hood or a retro fit. If you already have an existing canopy or you plan to build your own then you would need a retrofit, which includes only your light bulb sockets, maybe the actual bulb, the wiring and the ballast. I did not have my own hood or canopy, so I had to order the entire hood.... Does this help??

The wall mount was mine so don't include that. But inside the black hood is what you would call a retro. The bulbs, the sockets, all that stuff! IMO If you are starting from scratch, it doesn't save much in the end. If you already have a hood, or you want a pretty wood one, would be reasons for getting a retro.

Here is a VHO retrofit... That's all you get. You do the wiring and installation yourself, into a hood that you either have or get seperate. Am I getting redundant?? Sorry...
