Return pump electrical buzz

Hey...
For the past couple days my return pump (an aquaclear CAP-2200) has had a fairly loud (and getting louder) electrical humming sound...it doesn't look like there's anything stuck in it and it's still pumping fine. Any suggestions?

My CAP-2200 does that, I just stop it, clean the impellar and where it sits and start it back up and everything is normal again. The pains of cheap pump.

I had a mag drive that did that quite a bit for some reason. I used to pull it out when it started that, then put it back in the tank. Everything would be cool. I guess it had something to do with air being trapped in it after power outages or something. Anyways, one night I was sleeping and too lazy to fix it, so I let it run. I woke up to find a seized up, never to work again magdrive. So keep an eye on it. And if anyone knows how to fix this hundred and fifty dollar problem, please let me know.

Well I cleaned it out and now it's making a different sound. I guess this is progress . At very least it appears to be moving a lot more water now so I guess the cleaning was much needed!
