I had a mag drive that did that quite a bit for some reason. I used to pull it out when it started that, then put it back in the tank. Everything would be cool. I guess it had something to do with air being trapped in it after power outages or something. Anyways, one night I was sleeping and too lazy to fix it, so I let it run. I woke up to find a seized up, never to work again magdrive.
So keep an eye on it. And if anyone knows how to fix this hundred and fifty dollar problem, please let me know.
