Hi!
I have a 125 gallon tank and am looking for a good return pump. My bulkhead drain lines are only 1". I can't do external since the tank is in use and the sump does not have a bulkhead fitting for it. The return lines are 3/4". Any suggestions? Thanks!

Oh, I forgot to mention that I already have the QuietOne4000HH, would it alone produce enough flow without me having to add any powerheads? It is not a reef, just a FOWLR.

I would say no I don't think the the 4000 would have enough flow to keep dietrus from settling onto the bottom in a 125 but it depends mostly on your setup you can try it but it may not work in the long run. If your looking to save a little money look at the koralias Powerheads they work well and are inexpensive. 2- #3's or #4's would work perfectly.

The return pump will move water, but in a FOWLR you still want current moving water over, across, and thru LR as much as possible. The rock is you filter -

I will have to look at the Koralias. I have heard that they are supposed to be really good.

Ok. When I switch to one pump, I will put in powerheads for sure.
