HAHA...I used it one day as a pump to do a 30g water change when the pump I had wasn't strong enough to pump the water up in to tank. What type wet/dry?

i wanted to use it to return the water from a sump under my tank it would be like a 5 foot head think it would work?

What size line are you using for your flow into the sump? You have to watch how much is going into the sump, will 350gph from the Magnum be enough return? Using the 5/8" line??

Im not sure i need some help with that i posted twice in the diy section but got nothing

Anyone got overflow plans that would work?
Or a place to get one online?
Maybe just a model so ican have my lfs order it?

Anyone know how much flow i will need for a 180g fowlr ?
Will a 20 gallon long tank be enough?
I have 2 300w heaters in my tank will they heat it from my sump?

10x the water flow should be enough, but you don't want any dead spots. 20 long sump does not have a big enough foot print. And the heaters in there won't do much for the big tank. Will heat the water, but not the bigger volume thats already up there.
