Returning Powersweeps bought MaxiJets

Bought two Maxijets 900 (230 gph) is this too much for my 75 gallon reef or will I be Ok.

It's definately not too much. I had 3 in my 55. One on each end and one in the middle back lower in the tank.

I'd say that isn't to much, I have 2 in my 55 and Im thinking about putting 2 more on a wavemaker.

I agree with everyone else, thats not to many at all. I have a MJ 1200 and 2 penguin 1140's and a Mag 3 on my 55.

Right now I am still experimenting...
I have 2 maxi 1200 on top pointing at one another...2 900's on the middle sides shooting at the front of the glass to give the back and middle some current...
so far so good...

You could add 2 more if you like, not too much at all, and if you stick with the 900's your energy bill will still like you they draw much less amps then the 1200's

I changed it around...
the two 900's are pointing at one another on the top of the water and the 1200's are on the sides now shooting at the front of the glass...those 1200's got a lot of power, so I had to put the ends on them to redirect the flow...
Now I can say my current situation is Perfect...I am so happy!!! NOw I need to get rid of those damn mircobubbles
