you know those commercials with the talking Chevron cars? Well pufferfish look just like them! Maybe that is why they are so endearing 
sorry lol thought i'd share, i was watching TV last night and a Chevron commercial came on and i thought "wow! That kinda looks like my pufferfish, in fact it looks a lot like my pufferfish! it all makes sense now!"
