I want to start using r/o water what is the best and most economical way to do this? "Burnspy" I read on one of your post a while back about the unit you use but I can't remember what it was. If you read this can you please post what it is you use to purify your water to use in your tank? Thanks

Hey Vermillion:
I'm definately not BurnNspy, but I do know what unit he use's.
He use's the Jack Wately tap water purifier. Somebody told me where to find it. Since we can't post links to other stores why don't you e-mail me and i'll give you the site.
E-mail is dd_dulay@yahoo.com

Vermillion,
First I would check your local water quality. Take it into a store and test for phosphates and such. If they are high, then and only then would I get an R/O unit. Some will probably argue with me on this, but my tap water is actually better than the R/O unit because it does not have a lot of phosphates, it also has good levels of the other minerals that the R/O water pulls out. If you do use R/O water maybe you could suppliment with Aragamight with your top-offs to help re-add some of the essential nutrients to the tank.
Just my opinion.
