Rewiring ENDCAP ?

Just bought a WorkHorse 7 2 bold VHO kit...already prewired with 2 sets of 3 piece endcaps.
I need to change the length between the wire set that has both endcaps attached...How can the wires from the endcaps be removed...
How do they come apart (I/m not talking about unscrewing the 3 pieces) I need to rewire the EndCaps to the Ballast wiring and can not figure how to unwire the endcaps!!

If they are like the 3 piece German endcaps I have, the wires push up and are held in place. If you insert a small flathead screwdriver (like a jewels set) you can spread the gripper and the wire will come out easily.

Well that is what I needed to know...That worked...now I can run the wires properly....
