Hey all, I have an order coming in tomorrow from SWF and in my order I have a Green and a Orange Ric. I have never had a Ric b4 and according to the acclimation infor it says Temp. accl. is this correct? I heard to drip accl. them :notsure: . Any advice?

I drip acclimate everything i put in my tank.

I float first for temp. But that assuming you get stuff in plastic bags. I dont know how animals come from SWF.com but anything definatley needs to temp acclimated~!

All I do for rics, shrooms and most soft corals is set them on a paper towel for a minute or two until they deflate somewhat, then place em in the tank. NO need to temp or drip acclimate any of the soft corals. At MACNA (sp?) this question was brought up to one of the in the know folks in the corals areaa and the reply was let em uninflate on a paper towel and place em where you want em.

My Ric I only temp acclimated and it is doing great!!!!!! I believe unless you have wacked out levels that you would be fine to just temp acclimate and drop them in!!!
