Ridding Vermetid Snails-Superglue?

Hi All,
My Vermetid snails have multiplied BIG TIME!

I'd like to start getting rid of them today while I have time.
I've read about using needle nose pliers to break them off then superglue the hole/area?
Can someone explain exact directions Please? Wouldn't superglue hurt the tank - if its a wet rock, will it dry? How long before I put the glued rock back into the tank?

superglue is fine for the tank... we use it for frags all the time.
use the GEL stuff, and you don't even need to take the rocks out of the water.

You mentioned GEL super glue. Is regular super glue ok? I intend on taking the rock out as I have to break off the Vermetid tubes off (I have alot of them)....Thanks.

id still use the gell stuff, it just stays in place instead of running all over the rock
