What;s the biggist fish you may have to quarantine?
Usually bigger is better as it's easier to maintain fluctuations.

im not possitive but i believe i read that QT tanks should be like bare. That way if you have to treat or anything it doesnt affect anything but the fish.

you do not want anything like sand or lr in there. Most people take PVC pipe and mae some tunnels or caves or something out of it or you can place some fake coarls like te plastic kinds or you can also add some regular aquarium decorations. But adding LR/LS will only mess it up if you have to treat for something.

Go with the bigest you can. You may have a disease outbreak in the display and have to treat multiple fish at the same time.
