Rio 2100 pump bad for a Turboflotor

Hello
I have a turboflotor 1000 and it has a Rio 2100 that the motor went bad. I would like to just replace with another Rio 2100 and reuse the special wheel / impeller. But I trying to find out if Rio has changed the design from the my old Rio 2100 to the new Rio + 2100? Will the old impleller fit in the new still Rio +2100 pump? Or will I have to buy a new OceanRunner 2700 for about twice as much.

Call the company's tech support line onlyway to be sure. As wel las ask to see one out of box at your LFS.

welll I went to the LFS today to look at a new rio 2100, it looks exactly the same, but I guess untill I try to put the old impeller. I won't know for sure. I would have bought it at the LFS except it was double what I can buy it off the internet.
