Rip Omen

This morning I turned my lights on in my tank to find that omen (my perc clown) had not made it. I got him from a local fish store and im not to happy with the guy that runs the place. This is not the first time he sold me a bad fish. GRR. Skirrby, ill talk to you later today about him..

Sorry about your clown fish.

Do you know what it died of? Did it get some desease, starve, or get killed by something else in your tank? Need more information to help prevent this from happening again.

I am getting ready to post a post just like this one. I have a clown that has not eaten in 5 days now I am sure he won't make it much longer.

I have heard so many horror stories about peeps losing thier clowns they get from the LFS

This just inforces the idea of getting mine through this site when they are up and running again.
I wanted them ASAP but I would hate to lose them, so I will just get my shrooms from the LFS ( do corals carry bad things like ick and other things, I just thought of that

no i wouldnt think they would.. ick only infects fish.
and baby im sorry about omen.. i think he died cause he wouldnt eat. im sorry we will get a new one.. or a pair

hmm the lfs im she was talking about is aquamart over in titusville.. only the first loss in the tank.. her other loss was in her freshwater tank.. i had her test her water when she told me about it.. and amonia was 0, trites were 0, trates were 10, ph 8.2 she didnt tell me temp. she keeps her specific gravity at 1.024.. dont think it was water quality lol... ill have her test her water again today when she gets home from work. i think im going to keep all my livestock buying at my fav lfs.. i just call it dougs! aquamart has never impressed me.. they seem like they will take a fish thats half dead and sell to you and lie about it being ok if it means making a buck.

girlfriend just tested her water.. here are results..
temp-74
specific gravity- 1.025
ph 8.4- end of the day
amonia-0
trite-0
trate 10
so i guess that rules out water quality...
i really wish i knew why this guy died, i really liked him
