RO/DI and E. coli

I know ro units will take out most impurities....but will it remove things such as E. coli.
We have gotten to much rain and the raw sewage seeped into our water supply a few to many times.
So..will it remove E. coli.

I dont recall the best way to is to call the manufactorer of the unit and ask them. but I beleive as a safety the are still going to tell you to boil the water to kill anything that might be left in the water.
