has any one have info on the ro/di that sells at hd for about $150, does it work for reefing purposes or is it just drinking?

Anything will work. If it is an RODI unit, it is simply that. There is nothing special about aquarium RO units, they are just marketed to different types of people. You might want to look at the output on those, and cost/availability of the filters.

Like Brandon said , RO is RO whether it has an aquarium brand or household brand . From what I`ve seen , they are closely priced . As long as it has a Filmtec membrane , it`s a good one .
