I saw another thread on this a few down, but i didnt want to steal anyones thread. The question that i have is this. I live in an apartment, and obviously dont want anything permanant installed. Is it possible to use an RO unit that is the kind of setup where it take it out and use it as needed, or is this a lot of trouble. Will the cartridges dry out if it only gets used every couple weeks. I dont think that my faucet has enough pressure to run it, but am not sure. The tub sure does though. any thoughts on this one? I was looking at the typhoon III from airwaterice.com

Tell them your delima and ask them for advice...they are very nice people and interested in your business. I just got my reef/home dual setup from them and got it installed (finished) today. I emailed and talked on the phone with them for the past 3-4 weeks with all sorts of questions.
You can always tell when a business really wants your business...they are willing to help you. Oh and by the way...the setup is just as simple as they say.

I have responded to this before, as long as you have access to the supply valve under the sink and can shut it off, replace (if needed) the hose/pipe that comes from the valve and goes to the faucet with a pvc line. Takes about 15min. Then you can attach the piercing valve. You can leave the system leaning against the cabinet if you choose not to mount it. I suggest the compact system as it is smaller due to 2 filters being mounted horizontal.

JustinX---write walter and ask him! I just ordered the Typhoon III. Should get it sometimes next week. I didn't have room to keep it hooked up anywhere, so I that is why I got the Typhoon III. Anyway, he is fairly quick to respond to questions. I can't wait to get mine...I'm so tired of lugging 5 gallon jugs of water from the grocery store!!
