RO/DI question

Once the water is done filtering and pH and hardness are at the right levels, can i add the water for top off as soon as i want to or do i have to wait? Do i need to add any dechlorinator?

I add mine right after it comes out of the filter however its better not to add the water straight in. Since the water comes out almost perfect, it is striped of trace elements and pH. I've recently purchased a product called Aragamite (google it). You simply add 3/4 of a tablespoon of the powder to your RO/DI product water and it remineralizes the water and levels the pH making it safer to add to your tank. Hope this helps
