RO/DI running slow?

I just hooked my RO/DI system up and man...its not putting out very fast. Are they supposed to run this slow? Im getting 55 psi. Anyone??? Its a Typhoon III 100 gpd

yeah it takes time to get the water, thats why i bought one with a 3.2 gallon poressure tank so i have instand water, tho my 100 gpd is pretty fast but my water pressure is good and i live oin the coast and it stays in the 60's year round

Well its been a few hours and i still dont have a 5g bucket filled yet. If this is right then its all good. Yet another example of Patience huh?

The only thing that isnt optimal is the water is cold....there is condensation on all the tubing. So the water is cold. Is this the reason why its running so slow?

Most likely, cold water makes the membrane pores constrict so its more difficult for water to pass through.

I mix my water with hot water to get to the optimum temp. but I have a faucet attachment. I've heard this isn't a good practice because you pick up more conaminants from the water heater so the filters get depleted faster but so far I have been doing good on filters. I wouldn't really worry about, it just means it will take longer for you to make filter water.

ya...i guess so. Im making 50g to cure my sand right now. Then i have to fill my tank (72g) and the sump. Can i use this curing water in the main tank also? just pump it into it?

might need a pump, sounds like your pressure isnt enough. i dunno tho. hope you get it worked out.

Mine was slow until it got "broke in",after a few uses, it did pick up a little. But temp and inlet pressure will have an effect on production.
