RO/DI Storage question

Can I store RO/DI water straight to a 39 gallon storage tank that is normally used for a house on a well system? They come in metal and fiberglass with bladder and they are pressurized. Or will the metal or fiberglass leech back into the water?
I am taking out my RO system that came with a 2.5 gallon drinking water storage tank. Would that be okay to use if I can't use the 39 gallon mentioned above?
Thanks!
Randy
(My Kent RO/DI HI-S filter came in)

Yes, but we have two spare well tanks (one metal and one fiberglass) and being pressurized, it would be easier to use. Do you think the fiberglass or metal would be detrimental to the RO/DI water?
Thanks.

i would be wary about using the metal tank especially if you would be storing saltwater since it has a very corrosive nature.

If the two tanks are for the storage of potable water...they should be fine for the storage of ro/di water. If you plan on storing salt mix...use the fiberglass.

For RO/DI water I would use the fiberglass.
I would not use the metal tank for either saltwater or RO/DI.
Why go to the cost and time of producing RO/DI water - only to toss it back into a metal tank ???
Is the metal tank stainless steel ?

So you think the metal will leech back into the water. Hmmm maybe I won't go with the metal one.
Thanks!

Don't use the metal with ro/di.
ro/di water is just looking for ions to strip and most metals are an excellent source for these ions. Stick to the fiberglass.
