i'm considering buying a ro/di system. is there alot a waste water associated with this process. i thought i saw that for every 3 to 4 gfallons of water that passes through you only get one gallon. is this true, seems like alot of waste thanks

It's not necessarily a waste unless you have the waste line plumbed into the drain. The waste water has a higher nutrient content than the input water has and is great for gardens.

do you know where the membrane is and where the two hoses are. Which one comes out of the top and which one comes from the corner. Which one is the good water.

I have a Kent Hi S Maxxima 35 gpd and the blue tubing is for the good water and the orange is for the waste water.
