RO/DI to faucet?

Just got my ro/di....it came with some sort of water input designed to connect directly to pvc by drilling a hole in the side of the pipe but I have metal pipes (plus I live in a apartment).
How do I connect the 1/4 hose to a 15/16 faucet?
Been to home depot and lowes and they had no idea.
Thanks in advance,
Spencer

do you have a screw in hose or is it copper pipe all the way up to the faucet??
There are a couple of different ways that you can go
1) is a needle valve that wraps around the pipe and as you tighten the screw it will peirce the copper tubing when you back it off you will have a pin hole for the water to come out. ** I would get a tiny drill bit smaller than the needle to start the hole just to be safe and not bend the copper**
2) is to get a ICE machine T valve that you wil have to cut the pipe and solder into place so that you can attach the water supply line.

Online they sell an adapter that threads into the faucet diffuser. The filter guys sold me a great one.

ok yeah youll have to get one from an online source probably I havent seen them for sale at home depot or lowes because most of what they have is for permanant installs.
what brand of RO unit do you have?
they also make one that is set up to run on a water hose faucet.

Woah, this is too much
A saddle valve is what would be best if you cant
add a "T" into your pipe but just go under the sink and where your cold comes from the botton of the undersink cabinet, and the faucet Cold line connects to it. Turn off the little chrome valve and add a T in-line and then let the water run straight through to the faucets underneath plumbing as it sits currently. Faucets are usually plumbed with flex line so no issues with length should be present.
Once the T is plumbed into the cold line, then just get the fitting that matches your RO intake..
Do the same process but in reverse for your Waste water from your RO unit plumbed into the drain line of sink.
