RO / DI Tubing

I am just curious, what type of tubing people use? I purchased a RO DI filter and it originally came with blue tubing, I have adjusted the flow a lot and since then I have used the 1/4" OD tubing that you buy at the big box stores and three times now it has bursted and I come home to water spraying everywhere. It first happened with the tubing the dealer sent for an additional item, then it happened with the big box stores version. My water pressure is only 60 PSI. The water flows from both the hot and cold and goes through a Y to blend the temps for an optimal temperature through the RO DI of about 80 degrees. So I know its not a too hot issue, or a too much pressure issue...but I would like to guarantee those things.
So is there a super high density thick 1/4" OD tubing that people use?
