Ro/DI Unit Help

I havent quite figured these out yet. Im under the impressoion that they have to be hooked up straight to a water line. Is this true?
Can they be screwed into your faucet?
My plan was to put ro/di water into a resovoir tank and use a auto top off unit for my sump.
I just need to know if they can be hooked up to your faucet with a adpater or something?

Yes, you can get faucet adapters for them. Find a few web sites that sell RODI units almost exclusively, and you'll find what you need.
