call a plumber. jk. they can be a little confusing to hook up for the first time. maybe u can go to lowes or home depot and explain what u r trying to do and they might be able to get u some fittings to hook it to your hose or faucet.
If you have a luandry room I have found that is the best place to hook it up. Get a water hose y adapter and screw it to the cold water side of the washing machine hookup then hook your RO to one side and your washing machine back up to the other. Throw the waste line down the drain standpipe (the one the washing machine drain goes down) and your done hooking it up with no modifications to the existing plumbing.
If your RO dosn't already have a waterhose adapter then you will have to get the stuff at your harware store to adapt it.
Here a couple suggestions and prices.
$10.00 - BRASS HOSE Y WITH SHUT-OFF
FITS 3/4" OUTDOOR FAUCET OR LAUNDRY SINK FAUCET
$7.00 - ZINC HOSE Y WITH SHUT-OFFS
FITS 3/4" OUTDOOR FAUCET OR LAUNDRY SINK FAUCET
$12.00 - CHROME FAUCET ADAPTER
1/4" COMPRESSION BARB WITH THREAD FITTING
$8.00 - CHROME DIVERTER VALVE FOR FAUCET
WITH 1/4 " COMPRESSION BARB
$6.00 - GARDEN HOSE ADAPTER TO ¼" QUICK FITTING
$9.00 - GARDEN HOSE / LAUNDRY SINK ADAPTER 3/4" TO 3/8" QUICK FITTING
There are tons of other RO/DI items there as well. I'll PM you the address. Very nice people and usually get a response within hours of asking a question. Anyone else want the address just pm me.

+1 No tap required...no drilling, done in 5 minutes with ease.
if you do it that way just let me suggest a closing valve, like on the Y splitter. That way you can turn it off for maintenance or should anything happen, etc.
