is it normsl to have algae in your tank even though im using ro/di water?cuz i heard if u use tap straight up,then u will get major algae blooms?thank you

Algae comes from poor water chemistry, and there are LOTS of reasons why your chemistry may be out of wack - tap water is just one of them. Overfeeding/overstocking is probably the biggest reason though.
BTW - using treated tap water does not guarantee poor water chemistry and as such algae blooms, but it is a common contributor.
