RO or DI?

Which is better, RO or DI water. There are places around here that have either or, but not RO/DI combo. Which will USUALLY have lower phosphates/silicates?

RO, get that first, DI is a nice added step but the RO is the most important thing . . . . (i think)

Why worry - get both. Safeway, Food Lion etc, sells RO water that is typically DI for about .69 cents a gallon.
An RO/DI five stage water purifier can be purchased from ---- for less than $200.00 if you want to create your own.
