i would go with the ro if i had to choose. if you take in consideration all of the jugs you haul back in forth to the store and the price of gas now days.... a ro/di unit is well worth the money.

RO purifies water to 99% and DI takes it up to 100% pure . So just DI is not purified much at all .

It is incredibly co$tly to run water through a DI unit alone. I bet your local store DI water is really RO/DI.

humans arent supposed to drink DI water so if they are seeling it as drinking water I doubt it is DI at all.

Why cant you just go to the local fish store and buy it for .50/g or get a ro/di unit? pays for itself over a short time and connects and disconnects from your sink or hose.
