RO system question

Ok this may sound really stupid but what is the difference between an RO kit and an RO/DI kit? I founf an O for sale on C list for 125 and am considering it but am unsure it is a Aqua Safe Sytems, reverse osmosis water purification system.

DI Systems are designed to further purify the RO product water by passing it through a DI (deionization) cartridge which is integrated into the system. The DI cartridge contains ion exchange resins which remove the last traces of contaminants from the RO product water.

RO gets the water 99% pure and DI takes it the other 1% .

So do you have to have the DI dor fish or is just RO adequate, I am trying to decide if I should buy this one.
