Ro system

I just bought an ro system today and it said to let it run 10 gallons through it and disspose of it all so i did. whats a proper way to store an ro unit do i need to remove all the water from it? if so how di i do it? Thanks!

I'm purchasing my first RO today and am curious to this. My thoughts would be that it should be fine. After all the water after the filters is good and the water before needs to pass through the filters.

What kind of unit is it? My ro/di is always hooked up and runs when ever needed.

its a coralife prue flow 2 i hook it up outside to a water hose.. so when im finished i was just wondering what to do..
