ro systems

I started my 38 gallon tank 3 1/2 weeks ago, since then I've found out that my phosphates are at .1 ppm and I want to reduce that by filtering my water throuhg an RO system. I do small water changes (2-3 gals.) weekly, so I don't need a big gpd RO system, but I want a good one. Which manufacturer makes a good system and should I look at a three or four stage filter?

I have a reefpure, I got a 4stage with DI, my water quality is excellent. I have a small tank too 46gal, and I bought a 24gpd unit and it is more than adequate.

.1 is acceptable level, but may be reduced by adding phosphate absorbing sponge or media.
If your tank is cycling now don't do any water changes. Wait untill cycling is finished. During the cycle your phosphate can rise even to a higher levels. This is a part of cycle.
As for RO unit you can check Kent Marine, SpectaPure....
