RO Unit without the DI

Hey everyone.. long story short I am setting up my old 90 gal FOWLR (hasnt been set up in about 3 years) anyway just bought the coral life pure flo II RO unit. I am currently filling up the 55 Gallon trash cans as we speak. I just thought about the unit not having the add on DI unit. I know I can add it, and probably will, but is this something I should stop production over and get before I add the initial water to the tank?

I would just check the quality of the water....but it would be something I'd add on when possible.

You can pick up a cheap TDS meter to see your water quality, you could also check for Phos, and hardness, and PH as well
