RO unit

I have a 36 gallon tank, and like to do water changes about once a week, however im getting tired of driving out to the fish store since I dont have a way to make water. Basically I only need about 10 gallons of RO water a week 5 for a water change and 5 for topping off. On buying a RO unit is it possible to just set it up in a bucket where I could pull it out the night before I need water and run it and then put it away. Also what are some good RO units, if this dosnt seem like a bad idea.

Agreed...if this is all the water that you need, I would get a faucet unit. You don't need the wall mount unit with big storage tubs and all that. Just try to get a RODI unit, not just a RO unit.

ok cool, do yall have any suggestions on a good unit to look at?
Also would this be a smart buy, for this little amount of water, for instance how often do you have to change the filters. Im just trying to think if the convience of having it out weighs the cost
