This is my first time here. Hey everyone !!!!
So I'm convinced that ro/di water is really beneficial for saltwater/reef tanks. I'm doing my research before i buy anything. From searching, it seems like this CSPDI-90 is the best bang for the buck, the link is provided below. what is your thoughts on this? I live in an apt, so the simplest possible install is what i'm aiming for, as I have zero to no experience in plumbing. I have a small kitchen and a small bathroom. If i want to fill a 30 gallon rubbermaid tub for my water change on my 125g, how do i go about this? Seeing as how the kitchen and bathroom is small, i wanted to keep the rubbermaid tub in my bedroom in the corner.

Thanks in advance.

WELCOME to the site!
I rent my RO unit from Culligen so I am no help for you there. (Well water..long story)
I used a big round plastic 37g garbage can for my water changes. I add a heater to help salt to dissolve, a power head to churn things and my RO water and Reef crystals.
Here lately ( I also have a very small house) I don’t like that big can in my living room. So I purchased a rectangle shaped 13g can. So instead of doing a monthly water change, I do a small one every other week. The can sits pretty close to the tank and doesn’t take up so much space. I have dogs, so I cover the can with a table cloth to keep out dog hair and critter curiosity.
The problem with you keeping the can in another room, is that the tub weighs a ton after it is full of water. Moving it close to the tank after it is filled is near impossible.

There are other sites and r/o units out there. Some being cheaper then others. I would look at that popular site where you can auction items or buy them now. I bought a 6 stage r/o unit for $130 with free shipping. And my what is reading zero on everything and zero on tds meter. Just another option.

The one I ordered is a 5 stage system that produces 75 gph. Works great. It was 140. I just needed to buy a fitting at home depot for my sink.
