i just started a saltwater tank. it was a freshwater tank. its been saltwater for 5mnths. my alge on the glass is getting out of hand. i was wondering if i can boil water and use that. or if i can use distilled water. i also have zoo's in there. i was told they grow incredibly fast. i have seen anything in 5months. my tank is a 55 gallon with 130 watts of light 50/50.

You can use distilled. That will be a good start, what type of algea are you seeing on the glass?

You should also concider getting more lights. 2.36 wpg really isn't enough for most corals out there. Aim for about 4-5 wpg which could be from 260W of PC (4x65W).
