RO Water

Hey all,
I have an RO/DI that did not work very well and my filtered water is at 35 pp(my tap is 45). It took me forever (3 weeks) to 60% fill the tank and I already added 40 gal worth of salt before I realized (My tank is a 90). Should I just add the rest of the salt with real RO water (bought from store) and cycle or should I wait for the replacement filter, take the hit on salt and refill? In otherwords, does it matter for the cycle (I know that certain elements will remain in the tank but how bad will it be)? Please be really specific about why or why not.
Thanks,
E

if the water has impuritees in it you will just get a diatom bloom, which will die off within a week. no harm done, unless of course, there are trace metals in it (ie. copper)
