with live rock at five $ lbs and base rock at 3 are there any subs for base rock that can be found that is round. i have made aragocrete and i still had to buy the aragonite. some people say they are seeding limestone in florida because they can not take live rock any more. if any one might have some suggestions

Go on line and look for someone who is trying to get out of the hobby...you might get the rock real cheap...Like 10.00 for 50lbs. 3 years ago I found a guy who was just giving it away.

craigslist. I have 200 pounds of live rock, and I have never ever paid more than 3 dollars a pound for fully cured.. Trust me, unless u live in the middle of no where some one some where in your area will have some for cheap because they are getting out of the hobby

So with lace rock where is it readily accessible? What exactly is lace rock??? I am trying to fill up a 125 gal.
