I'm ready to start laying out my base rock and LR. Is it better to put all the base rock on the bottom with the LR on top of it, or mix it up? I want to give the base rock the best chance to pick up stuff from my live rock as possible.

You can lay it out any way you like if you are cycling your tank. But if your tank is up and running you will need to cure your live rock before adding it.

Thanks...this is a new tank. I've put 40lbs of base rock and 25lbs of LR. Now....if I can just keep my hands out of the tank so things will settle!
